Cherokee Hands
I have always been interested in the written word, lettering and symbols. The Cherokee Syllabary is composed of some very beautiful symbols each one representing a syllable in the Cherokee language. When my movement disorder (Dystonia) came back hard several years ago I lost control of my hands, arms, legs and speech. it has taken a lot of therapy and family assistance to get to where I can paint again. So doing these paintings seems to be a natural recognition of human hands in daily life.
